Junior Bridging Pit Gauge

 Brochure

The Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge was simply introduced to compete in price with inferior Pit Gauges, with fixed Bridging Bars or simple Extension Arms, offered by others. There are subtle differences between the ‘Junior’ and the Bridging Pit Gauge System, in that the Junior has a flat contact surface, which is also fitted with strong magnets.

This Pit Gague is available in 3 Versions, the economical Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge, the more versatile Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge Plus, and lastly the longer Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge Super. The Juniors are very competitively priced, which is reflected from their lower manufacturing costs. However, most of the unique feature in the Bridging Pit Gauge System were not engineered out of the Junior!

While the Jr. Bridging Pit Gauge is far less expensive than the Bridging Pit Gauge System, it does have a market niche in the Pipeline construction industry. Inspectors can extend the length of this Bridging Bar to evaluate field Over Bends. While corrosion can occur on Over Bends, buckling can also be a problem in new construction and these are not much different than a dent.
