COMBINED HARDNESS TESTER NOVOTEST T-UD2
The Combined Hardness Tester NOVOTEST T-UD2 combines the advantages of two methods: UСI (ASTM A1038) and Leeb (ASTM A956), which makes it possible to solve almost any task of operational hardness testing. With this device, the user will be able to measure the hardness of both a large products with a rough surface and a small samples of complex shape and with a thin wall.
This modification of the device has all functions for working with various materials and scales, which makes it an optimal device for non-destructive testing of metal hardness.
The main advantages of the Combined Hardness Tester NOVOTEST T-UD2 are:
PRESET CALIBRATIONS FOR COMMON MATERIALS AND SCALES
Using a dynamic (Leeb) probe, it is possible to measure various materials different from their properties from steel without additional calibration, because by default, the device has built-in calibrations for different materials for the main hardness scales.
MEASURING HARDNESS OF PRODUCTS WITH HIGH ROUGHNESS AND COARSE-GRAINED MATERIALS
The dynamic measurement method is less demanding on the uniformity of materials and surface roughness, which allows the user to measure the hardness of a wide range of alloys, as well as to test products without first preparing the surface of the testing area.
MEASUREMENT OF PRODUCTS WITH THIN WALLS
Using the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) method, the Combined Hardness Tester NOVOTEST T-UD2 can measure products with wall thicknesses of 1 mm or even thinner when using a UCI Probe Test Stand NOVOTEST.
SMALL PRODUCTS HARDNESS MEASURING
The UCI probe allows measurements of products from 100g without additional manipulations, and even less when fixing samples in a vice or special equipment.
RADIUS SURFACE PRODUCTS AND PLACES DIFFICULT TO ACESS
Due to the small contact area of measurement, with an ultrasonic (UCI) probe it is possible to measure the hardness of products in grooves, gear teeth, and using a special nozzle it becomes possible to accurately measure the hardness of radius surfaces and even the wire hardness.
POLISHED SURFACES WITH HIGH IMPRINT REQUIREMENT
The ultrasonic (UCI) probe has an imprint almost invisible to the naked eye, to minimize the destruction aftertesting, the device can be equipped with a special probe with reduced load force (10N), which makes the measurement as non-destructive as possible.
SHOCKPROOF RELIABLE HOUSING
The device comes in a protective silicone cover, which makes body shockproof and prevents the failure of the device after falls. Also, the device is tolerant of extreme operating conditions (the temperature range from -20 to + 40 C°)
Combined Hardness Tester NOVOTEST T-UD2 has special software to get data on PC for further processing.
Advantages:
- 2 removable probes: ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) and dynamic, rebound (Leeb)
- There are almost no restrictions for hardness testing (by weight, configuration, structure, degree of mechanical and thermal treatment, etc.)
- To evaluate changes in the hardness of the hardened layer depth articles and the effect of surface stress
- Wide range of hardness value
- Convenience and ease in operation
- Graphical contrast display with backlight
- Automatic recognition of probe
- Extended temperature range (cold-resistant, down to -20 °C)
- Device has internal memory and allows user to transmit data to PC
