Ectha1000 Mechanical Sclerometer

Overview

The Ectha1000 mechanical sclerometer is a product entirely made in Italy, designed to perform qualitative analysis of concrete and estimate its mechanical properties. The Ectha1000 guarantees high reliability and precision.

The Ectha1000 Mechanical Sclerometer is made in accordance with all major global standards.

  • ISO/DIS 8045
  • EN 12 504-2
  • ENV 206
  • DIN 1048-2
  • BS 188-202
  • ASTM C 805
  • NFP 18-417, B 15-225
  • JGJ/T 23-2001
  • JJG 817-1993

Using the Ectha1000 Schmidt hammer, a qualitative analysis of the in-situ concrete is carried out with the aim of estimating its mechanical properties. The principle behind the Schmidt hammer test is the measurement of the surface hardness of the material, expressed in terms of the Rebound Index. This investigation falls under non-destructive testing methods, as it avoids causing damage and does not compromise the functionality of the structures.

Features

  • Reliability

In order to ensure maximum reliability and efficiency of its products, DRC constantly subjects its entire range to strict quality control procedures, both during production and testing phases. Thanks to DRC’s commitment to Research and Innovation activities and to significant collaborations with prestigious Italian and international universities, the Ectha1000 Schmidt hammer stands out as one of the safest and most efficient tools in the Non-Destructive Testing sector.

  • Ergonomics and Sustainability

DRC carefully selects its suppliers based on quality criteria and environmental responsibility. The materials used for manufacturing the Ectha1000 mechanical Schmidt hammer are the best available on the market. The Ectha1000 features a rubber-coated plastic grip that enhances its ergonomics and protects it in the event of accidental impacts. The Ectha1000 mechanical Schmidt hammer is a product entirely made in Italy.
